This Indigo Ointment (Qing Dai Gao) from CMD Skin Solutions is a well-known external formula in Chinese Medicine Dermatology. They have modified the traditional recipe by adding more herbs known for their antiviral action. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, the herbs in this ointment Clear Heat, Drain Fire, Resolve Toxins and Dry Dampness.
This formula was originally designed for use on patients with molluscum contagiosum, but it can effectively soothe herpes rashes, impetigo, nummular eczema, weeping atopic eczema, urticaria (hives), or poison ivy.
How to use:
Apply a thin layer of ointment to affected skin 3 times daily for best results.
Please note: This ointment is dark green in color and may temporarily stain fabric. Allow ample time for ointment to be absorbed into skin before wearing or lying on light colored fabric.
