Nourishing Ointment (Run Ji Gao)

Run Ji Gao is Dermatology M's best-selling traditional Chinese herbal emollient, made for dry, rough, tight, delicate, or redness-prone skin. This rich ointment deeply moisturizes and softens the skin while drawing on herbs traditionally used to moisten, nourish, and support healthy-looking skin. It applies thickly at first, rubs in clear despite its red color, and may feel more comfortable than many creams on very sensitive-feeling skin.

What to expect:

• Intensely hydrates, conditions & soothes
• Red colored ointment, thanks to red herbs like Arnebia Euchroma (Redroot) Root Extract, but can be rubbed in to reach a clear layer on the skin

Who Should Use This Product:

Best suited for people whose skin tends to look dry, rough, flaky, red, or easily irritated, especially when a richer, more occlusive ointment feels preferable to a cream.

How To Use:

Massage Nourishing Ointment into skin on the face or body to lock-in deep moisture and lasting comfort. Allow to absorb.

When To Use:

Apply 3 to 5 times daily.

Cautions & Contraindications:

• For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Potential Allergens: While all herbs have the potential to cause sensitivity, most users tolerate topical herbal products well. If you have sensitive skin or a history of allergies, test a small amount on the inner arm before regular use. Discontinue use if redness, itching, or irritation develops.
